Apple Watch Ultra 3: Expectations for the Next Generation
Apple is expected to launch its next generation Apple Watch Ultra 3 at the company's iPhone launch event this year. Rumors suggest that Apple will unveil the iPhone 17 series smartphones and the Apple Watch Ultra 3 next month. A recent online report reveals a new feature expected in the Apple Watch Ultra 3. According to MacRumors, the latest iOS 26 beta indicates that the Apple Watch Ultra 3 may feature a slightly larger display compared to its predecessor. Leaked assets show a resolution of 422 x 514 pixels, up from the current Apple Watch Ultra 2's 410 x 502 resolution. While the physical casing size of the Apple Watch Ultra 3 is not confirmed to be larger, the increased resolution implies a larger display or a reduction in bezel size for an enhanced screen within a similar form factor. This potential display enhancement could offer a more immersive and user-friendly experience, allowing more information to be displayed at a glance or providing a larger canvas for watchOS features.
Apple Watch Ultra 3: What to Expect
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is anticipated to debut this fall alongside the iPhone 17 lineup and Apple Watch Series 11. Speculated upgrades include:
Satellite connectivity for off-grid communication
A brighter display with faster refresh rate
A new chip for improved performance
Potential health features like blood pressure monitoring
Apple has not officially confirmed these specifications, but the beta leak fuels speculation that the Ultra 3 will continue to push boundaries in rugged, high-performance wearables. It is widely expected that Apple will unveil the Apple Watch Ultra 3 this fall, likely alongside the new iPhone 17 lineup and Apple Watch Series 11 models.
