Actor Varun Badola Criticizes 'Saiyaara' Promotions Team for Going Overboard
Actor Varun Badola never hesitates to share his opinions. Recently, he commented on his film 'Saiyaara.' The actor admitted that he hasn't watched the movie yet. Varun Badola criticizes 'Saiyaara' promotions team for going overboard
In an interview with Screen, Varun Badola disclosed that after the film's third or fourth day of release, he noticed a significant response. He observed the "euphoria" on Instagram. He remarked, "People are going to see the film, putting IV drips. I think the promotions team went a little overboard where people are going to see the film." Varun's comments directly conflicted with director Mohit Suri's recent podcast statement, claiming all reactions were organic. Varun suggested that those posting about the film on social media might have been instructed on the content they shared. He sarcastically added, "Thank god people didnât get their legs broken and went crawling to see the film." Varun acknowledged the necessity of promotions for the film but believed it should be limited to a certain extent. He clarified that Instagram promotions alone wouldn't lead to significant box office numbers; people must genuinely watch and appreciate the film.
